Barbara Stahley is a Managing Director with Chadick Ellig where she conducts C-level executive searches for a diverse portfolio of clients including Fortune 100, start-up, and nonprofits organizations. Since joining the firm in 2010, Barbara has helped her clients optimize their talent strategy through talent acquisition, diversity, and market mapping initiatives. She works with clients in a range of industries such as financial services, technology, healthcare, and media and has successfully completed numerous search assignments for senior leaders in functional areas including human resources, marketing, finance, general management and operations.

Certified by Hogan Assessment Systems, Barbara provides her clients and candidates with an added layer of quantitative assessment and one-on-one coaching.

Prior to joining Chadick Ellig, Barbara spent six years with Page Group, a global recruitment firm headquartered in the U.K. As a Recruitment Manager based in London, she built and led high-performing teams, managed a P&L, and recruited mid-level talent for clients in the financial services and legal industry in Europe. Previously, Barbara led the start-up of the firm’s nonprofit division in New York.

Barbara earned a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management & Organizational Analysis from King’s College, London and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Rutgers University. She serves on the NYC Leadership Board of the American Lung Association and the Executive Committee of the King’s College London Alumni Association in New York. She is a member of HR People & Strategy, as well as Alumni Career Advisor and Mentor at both of her alma maters.
